About Regional Events

To help RCA members stay connected within their local communities, the RCA hosts numerous regional events throughout the United States, Canada, and the UK each year. Designed to create a means for members to share their knowledge and expertise on a local level, RCA Regional Events provide a way to stimulate professional development, networking, association involvement, and enjoyment for members.

The Regional Activities Committee supports “Regions Without Borders,” so that members and non-members can explore Regional Events in their part of town, or away from home when visiting another part of the country.

Members and non-members may attend. Costs and registration guidelines vary from event to event, and are outlined in the listing of upcoming Regional Events.

Plan a Regional Event

Interested in planning a Regional Event? Great! Let's start by contacting your Regional Key Contact and they will work with Eric Skates, RCA's Regional Liaison, in conjunction with the Regional Activities Committee to further discuss your proposed event and put your proposal into action!

Earn Continuing Education Credits

Educational components of RCA Regional Events may count towards continuing education for Certified Research Chef (CRC) and Certified Culinary Scientist (CCS) certification renewal purposes. View the certification renewal guidelines for details.

Join the RCA Regional Activities Committee

Bursting with ideas on creative, interactive learning and networking opportunities? Use those ideas to help the Regional Activities Committee. Volunteers are also needed to help find sponsors and recruit attendees. Volunteer for the Regional Activities Committee and make an impact on a local level!
